Hi,

on site http://lilypond.org/help-us.html, in sections Simple tasks
and Advanced tasks all links are broken.

Cheers,
Basia

For some reason they all point to a not-yet-existent 2.21 documentation.

As a workaround you can replace "v2.21" in the URLs with v2.19 to access
the pages.

That would be broken. The VERSION file currently reads:

PACKAGE_NAME=LilyPond
MAJOR_VERSION=2
MINOR_VERSION=21
PATCH_LEVEL=0
MY_PATCH_LEVEL=
VERSION_STABLE=2.18.2
VERSION_DEVEL=2.19.82

and VERSION_STABLE and VERSION_DEVEL are the versions that should refer
to installed web sites. Can someone figure out where
MAJOR_VERSION/MINOR_VERSION gets into generated links?

It should be explained here:
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.19/Documentation/contributor/website-build

"create-version-itexi.py parses the file VERSION in the top source dir.
It contains:"

etc.

BTW, see also this recent discussion:

well, that doesn't answer our real problem: why 21 got there at all?
